F-IT! It's FRIDAY!!!

My Friday posts will be the most random posts of all randomness.  F-it, it's Friday!

I don’t get fancy for work.  Is that bad?  I just don’t have the energy most days.  I wish I did and someday I might.  There are about 50 employees in the office I work in, only 8 are girls.  Let’s be honest…boys don’t care what you wear and I don’t feel like waking up any earlier to impress 7 girls.  I like my sleep.  Since today is Friday I knew traffic would be light so I took an extra 8 minutes to run the straightener through my hair.  I wore a color other then black, gray or beige.  The ladies were impressed.  I didn’t realize how low the bar was set.  I need to step up my game
I tried to rotate this picture a million times.  F-it.

I tried on some cute as hell shoes a few months ago, but I didn’t buy them because I was being responsible before my Hawaii trip.  When I went back a few weeks later they were gone.  L  I found them! I’ve ordered them! It cost me $20 more but I didn’t care.  I WANTED them.  Now I’ve realized I have no idea what I’ll wear them with or when since I don’t get fancy on the daily.  They sure are going to look cute in my closet.

This is my screen saver at work.  Each time I look at it I remember our  Kiss handshake.  Everyone asks if he licked his lips for me.  Helleerrr?!?! I.would.be.dead.  So thank you LL for not killing me. I shall stare at your dimple for all eternity…or until I have to move my mouse.
Watch Hawaii 5-0 on Monday.  I may be in the foot chase through the International Marketplace. Or the scene could have been cut.  I shall still have the memory.

I love this.  Both my weekend kid and my mini me posted it.  We are so alike it’s scary.  We tell no lies.  Just sayin’.

HAPPY FIRDAY!!!!

My boy is 9 and we're party animals

My little Man turned 9 years old on Saturday so we had a busy weekend.  It started on Friday when he received an award at school for being responsible.  Funny thing is, my responsible son....he forgot to give me the notice so I could be there. :(  I cried in my office, I've never missed an award.  But he had his Nana, aunt/Godmother, uncle, cousin and sister there to cheer him on. :)

Saturday he had a baseball game.  This kid loves baseball, or any sport for that matter.  He plays outside from the moment homework is done until I call him inside for dinner.
Swinging for the fence!

Then in the afternoon our house was full of family and friends who came by to help celebrate his 9th Birthday.  The party started at 3pm and the last person left at 1:00am.  Yes we have 10 hour parties at our house.  :)

He said he had the best birthday ever.  Nothing makes me happier then seeing a smile on his face.  He is the most loving, caring, honest kid I know.  He's hilarious and athletic.  He loves his sisters and cuddles his mom.  He's the very best parts of me and my husband all in one.  9 years ago he came into the world booty first and hasn't stopped showing it off since!!

Happy Birthday My Little Rock!

Hey, It's okay!

Hey, It's okay to join in on the fun and do it's a Hey, It's okay post! :)
Thanks to the Whispering Writer for the idea!

To show off my picture of me and LL Cool J and tell people it's our engagement photo.

To have waited until yesterday to do my taxes.  I was in no hurry to pay Uncle Sam more money.

To watch bootleg movies on-line.  I'm on a budget and if watching a grainy movie is the only way to see it so be it.

To have taken over a year off from blogging because I was lazy. :)  I'll get back into the swing of things soon enough.

To be completely addicted to Pinterest and pin a bunch of DIY stuff I'll never get to.  It makes my profile look like I'm quite crafty.

To let people stuggle with the math trying to guess my age when they find out about my 18 year old daughter.

Aloooooohhhaaaa!!!

Did you know in Hawaii that's how they say it?  Long and drawn out like that.  Not all the time, but a lot of the time.  It gets pretty annoying after awhile.  Then you remember you are in Hawaii and you could care less how people greet you.  You're in HAWAII!!! :)

Hanauma Bay

My daughter and I went on a trip to O'ahu.  It was UH-MAZE-ING!!!  She is a Senior in high school and will be graduating next month. Agh!!!  We took the trip with her dance team.  They didn't have a dance competition or anything, they just decided to take a team trip to Hawaii and learn Hula and Tahitian dance directly from the best.  It was a lot of fun!

Watching the sunset

I'll share the breakdown of our weeklong stay in a later post.  For now I want to share the bestest part of my trip.  I met him.  I touched him. I spoke to him.  He held my hand for 2.3 seconds. I professed my love and he responded with "It's very nice to meet you" pretty much means he loves me too.  Right?

LL Cool J and non make up me

Does he look scared?  He probably was.  I came at him like a crazed woman.  I should have toned it down a little.  But I can't even begin to explain how excited I was.  I love him ya'll.  LOVE HIM!!!

More on my Hawaii adventures later.  :)
