I'm a "winner"....

I won a raffle today.  A big important raffle.  A raffle a bunch of us entered, wished each other luck on and crossed our fingers that we wouldn't win.  I won a spot as a chaperone on B's classroom's overnight field trip aboard the Star of India.

It's a beautiful ship and a great experience.  I would be okay with it if I wasn't such a wuss.  Seriously.  I am fine with no make-up, no bed, sleeping on a wooden deck floor, waking up at 5:30am.  I can handle it. However, I am an active watcher of Ghost Hunters.  I saw the episode they did.  The creepy voice saying "Get off my ship!". AH!!!  I mean there is a group that hosts ghost hunting trips on this boat.  Again, like I said, I'm a wuss.  I do not like things that go bump in the night.  I don't like hearing noises and not being able to shake the hubs awake and make him go check it out.

B is super excited that I'll be on the ship with her.  So I'll tough it out for my baby girl.  I'll be super mommy and we'll have a great time.  But just so you all know...I might pee my pants if I see/hear anything scary...and I will totes blame it on one of the kids. :D

  1. ok...rule #1 - don't look over the side into the water when its dark outside (strange things "manifest" when you can't see clearly). rule #2 - no Paranormal State, A Haunting, Ghost Hunters tv shows, at least 2 weeks in advance. rule #3 - always say "In the NAME OF JESUS" when you get skerred. hahahah, works for me!!
